The first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name Volkswagen is reliability. When other companies were struggling with build quality issues, Volkswagen was producing cars that you knew would ‘just work’, hence their value on the second-hand market remains high as people know they’re buying into a reliable brand. Whether starting out with the new up range, stylish superminis that still offer space and comfort, or want something larger with the Polo, you know you’re getting something special. Then of course, the iconic Golf. This car needs no introduction. During the 80s and 90s, nobody in their twenties would be seen in any other car, and the GTI model is seen as an absolute classic. But they’re not just about small cars. The Passat is one of the best saloons on the market with exceptional space and comfort, and the Tiguan provides room for growing families in an SUV styling that is hard to beat. For even more space, the Touran is one of the best MPVs on the market with seven seats and exceptional loadspace. If you want to go off-road, there's the Touareg, a beast of a 4x4 that’s capable of taking on all terrains.
